A fanlisting is a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor, actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject. This fanlisting is for the relationship between Seamus Harper and Rommie from Andromeda.

P Y G M A L I O N
Seamus Harper is the engineer aboard the Andromeda Ascendant warship. Andromeda is a sentient ship, meaning she is alive and can communicate with her crew. Harper made a humanoid avatar for Andromeda to use, so she could experience life as a human, but still have control over the starship. Harper built her as a beautiful woman and is somewhat in awe of her. He is also very protective of her and cares for her deeply, even if she is an android. Harper and Rommie are very close. Since Harper built her, he knows everything about her, how she reacts, and what she thinks. Rommie cares about Harper as well, but will always believe she knows more than him. ;)

I named this fanlisting "Pygmalion" after the Greek myth involving a sculptor named Pygmalion who made a sculpture of a woman. He fell in love with his work of art and named her Galatea. Eventually Aphrodite turned her into a real woman and they were married. I thought it was good title since Harper made Rommie and although may not love her romantically, he does care deeply for her in an unique way that no one else can understand. Also, Gabriel in the episode 1.20 "Starcrossed" refers to Harper as Pygmalion. The picture in this layout is from the Season 2 episode "Bunker Hill".
