In 3021 (the last year of the Third Age and 3 years after the war of the Ring), Frodo sets out to the Grey Havens to sail to the undying lands with Bilbo, Elrond, Gandalf, and Galadriel. Frodo gives the Red Book to Sam and it becomes a heirloom in his family. And 41 years later, Samwise sails over the Sea to be rejoined with Frodo.
